Kayn The German Shepherd

George and Sarai have been amazing trainers for both Kayn and me. Kayn is a year-old purebred working line German Shepherd, and he’s full of energy and excitement. When he was a puppy, he would react, bark, and chase almost everything—bikers, joggers, cars, and other animals. Since he’s almost my size, I was often dragged around and had no confidence in walking him. We started training with George and Sarai when Kayn was 9 months old.

At first, Kayn barked, growled, and lunged when they brought their dog into our home. George and Sarai really took the time to sit down with me, talk about my struggles, and make me feel understood. They also helped me figure out my long-term training goals. During his board and train, they taught Kayn lots of obedience lessons. My favorite is ‘heel,’ which now lets him walk by my side perfectly without pulling, even when we pass other dogs, people, or distractions. Another great command is ‘down stay/spot.’ This has taught Kayn self-control, so we can prepare and eat meals without him jumping on us or the counters. It also helps with our cats, as he knows he can’t chase them or move from his spot.

Thanks to George and Sarai, I now have the confidence and control to walk Kayn through crowded places and past other animals or fast-moving objects. I’m super proud of the progress we’ve made, and I couldn’t have done it without George and Sarai’s help.
