Bonnie The Pit Mix

Name/age/breed: Bonnie, 1 year 3 months, Pitbull/Staffordshire terrier mix

How you found us: We saw G&S training dogs at Stonebridge in Woodbridge and the dogs they were training exemplified what we were looking for with our puppy.

Challenges prior to training: Being that we were first time puppy owners and Bonnie had a rough start in life before we got her from the shelter, we faced many challenges with our Bonnie girl. Bonnie was terrified walking out of the front door into our neighborhood with many people, children, and dogs around. If she was spooked on a walk (which she often was), she would pull us all of the way home in a panic. Bonnie often held her head down and we wondered if she was sad sometimes.

How life is now with a trained dog: Bonnie has grown in confidence and poise in such a short amount of time. Bonnie is able to not only walk gracefully in our community, but at outdoor malls and indoor shops as well. She loves the attention from everyone who sees such a well trained dog such as herself. Bonnie has so much personality that shines through now that she is our confident girl.

Additional comments: Hiring G&S was the best decision we could have made for us and for Bonnie. We look forward to future G&S group activities and playdates with other G&S trained dogs. Due to our own personal increase in confidence as dog parents due to our time with George and Sarai, we feel excited to get another dog in the future and will definitely be using G&S. Thank you.
